Well, it's that time again.... Drunken Stampers Challenge #130 is "Breakfast at Tiffany's" or Bling... and I would LOVE for you to come and play along ... make a card using the movie theme or just bling in general and post it to your blog; then link up your blog post from the Drunken Stampers Lounge with our 'linky tool" and That's it - you're entered! And you could be the winner of the coveted "Life of the Party" Blinky for your blog.
Here is the card I made and I Just LOVE Her!
I pulled out my Craft and Glitz micro-fine glitter for this technique and I just love the look of the "flat image" against a sparkly background - I think it pops the image even more. To achieve this effect I colored my stamped image (a Loralie Designs stamp) with copic markers and cut it out. I then mounted it on piece of paper covered with double-sided sticky film and rubbed in my pink micro-fine glitter with my finger until all the "sticky paper" was covered. I then mounted THAT piece on a second larger piece of paper covered in double-sided sticky film and rubbed in my blue glitter; as long as I have made sure the pink glitter has been thoroughly "burnished" there should be no transfer of color. As always some CTMH liquid glass and Rangers stickles finish off my card. A little trick of mine is to put some liquid glass on the eyes of my image, it makes them glitter a little so they look alive... Cool Huh?
Thanks for stopping by .... and leave me a comment if you like! I LOVE to hear from you...smile.
WOW Lynne...you were totally right...this card was well worth the wait ;)
