It's Stencil Sunday and THAT Makes Me Happy!

Happy Sunday Peeps and if you have clicked in from the STAMPlorations Blog... Welcome to my Blog!

Every Sunday over at the STAMPlorations' blog the design team will provide you with some inspiration featuring "Stencil Play".  Today I am showing you two tags I created using the new CUTplorations Luggage Tag Nesting Dies, ARTplorations Stars Align stencil and the STAMPlorations Big Bloom Factory stamp:
What a lovely way to adorn a gift and make it personal at the same time.  I like to make several tags at once and have them on hand so all I need to do is add the appropriate sentiment.
On a package or a gift bag these tags look great and a personal message on the back will turn them into a card or keepsake.
These tags came together quite quickly, as I cut the tags from one sheet of purple card stock; used Dylusion inks dabbed on with a paper towel through the stencil and added just a smear of some of my white mediums to create some sparkle and texture.

While my tags were drying I stamped several flowers on solid colored card stock in coordinating colors using ColorBox purple pigment ink, which I then cut out and mounted on the tags.
I chose my sentiments from another STAMPlorations set called Birds and Blooms and I added a bit of embellishment to the flower centers with my Ranger Liquid Pearls.
So the next time you want to increase the WOW factor of a gift you are giving  think about using a tag!
