What's On YOur Workdesk Wednesday #371

Happy WOYWW peeps... you can see everone's links HERE at Jan the Lunch Lady's Blog post today, where she will be hosting for the last time as our recovering Leader Julia Dunnit will be well enough to take back the hosting duties next week... YaHOOO! (If you are new to WOYWW Go HERE to find out all about it)

Well I missed the last few Wednesdays but I really did have a good reason... the sheer amount of STUFF I accomplished is so amazing that I am journaling it HERE for posterity!  Since I last posted I picked and pitted over 100 lbs of cherries off our ONE cherry tree (thank goodness we have only one!); I picked raspberries and currant and gooseberries which have been turned into 60 jars of jam with more to come and I have filled the freezer with rhubarb and those pitted cherries until I have time to process them because The TOMATOES are coming! Mr. Awesome planted 60 tomato plants! SHEESH...  but that's just the home front... I am now on 3 design teams and I have also been creating like mad trying to get ahead of my obligations (good thing I LOVE what I do!)  but I not only whipped off five Design Team projects, but I participated in the Women Unleashed On-Line Retreat classes, managing to get five of those lesson done, and completed another four Lifebook 2016 lessons (onbly behind 21 lessons now... grin) and I even managed to get in four days of camping and hosted out-of-town guests for a few days... Just Call Me AMAZON Woman... Big GIANT Smile!
The REAL Me (no makeup, messy hair)
So I am doing something I little different today... I am sharing a crazy number of photos of my studio, starting with the one tiny corner that is still clean... which I "set up" for my WOYWW post today showcasing just a few of the projects I have completed over the past few weeks... but then I just couldn't NOT SHARE the Real ME! So, like going on a tour of a house with secrets... these following photos reveal what my studio REALLY looks like when I am in the middle of creative chaos, juggling my obligations and wearing the many hats we women seem to wear these days... I actually HAD to tidy up a wee bit so you could SEE THE MESS! Grin... so Enjoy! This is my Creative Space with messy hair and No Makeup! Giggle
The Clean Bit...
and a bit messier...
and a bit messier...
and a bit messier...
Entering the Crazy Zone...
What it REALLY looks like when I am working...
My Stamping Station has now become a Dumping Ground for stuff I don't have room for on my TWO Work Desks!
It doesn't Look So bad from here...
And here are a few of the projects I have been working on.. just scroll on down through some of my precious posts to see more detail!

So that's It WOYWW Peeps... the REAL Me today... I hope you will be patient with me these next few weeks as I try to process the vegetables that are now being produced in our incredibly abundant garden (Who KNEW you could grow food like this?) And next year Mr. Awesome will NOT be allowed to plant this much! grin Do you have any idea how fast and BIG zucchini grow?!?

  3. Your studio looks absolutely fabulous! What a great space to be able to work in.

60 tomato plants! I only have 2 and we have a lot of tomatoes that I won't get to enjoy as I'll be gone when they ripen. You sound like you have a lot on - gardening, design teams, canning! That certainly keeps you very busy.

Hope you have a great week

  9. Hi Lynne, Always nice to put a face to the desker.

Your number has changed from 39 to 42.

I am envious of your huge craft room. I have been drooling over the photos showing all your scrummy stash.

How lovely to have so much of your own grown food. Your hubby sure is Mr. Awesome. I love Zucchinis. We call them Courgettes.

Thanks for stopping by my blog.

    Happy WOYWW

  10. Oh Lynne... after showing the real me in my blogpost - double chin and all - it's such a delight to meet with the real YOU. You look lovely my dear!! No plastic ladies we are, oh no - but as crazy, whimsical, versatile, creative, messy and real women we could make a great pair. Too bad we live that far apart, I would love to spend a day (or more) in your studio, creating together - or stroll through the garden and having toast with homemade jam for breakfast... now that would be something! Who knows, one day...? Until then, I send a big hug with the waves over the ocean your way. Love from Holland, Marit #26

  11. What joy you must have in your craft room (when you have time to go in with all the bottling etc you have been doing). It is so huge and so light and airy - and so tidy.
Have a good week and relax a bit.
    Hugs, Neet 10 xx

  12. Yes, I know exactly how fast zucchini grow!! One day they're 6" long, the next they've grown into enormous marrows! You sound like you haven't had time to breathe let alone do anything else! I've only grown three tomatoe plants as they have to be in the greenhouse, not outside. Your hubby must have green fingers, the way everything has gone mad!
I loved the pic of you - what a lovely friendly gal you are, just happy and smiley. I think we'd get on just fine if we had a day together!

  13. awesome post. I enjoyed a look around your craft room and garden. We used to have a much bigger one but after I became ill my husband had our yard people build us above ground beds where I could sit on the edge to garden. Thank you for visiting my desk earlier. You asked where I live…Smack dab in the middle of Oklahoma…Norman, OK to be precise. Everything has done well this year and we were actually able to start planting the end of February…rare here too! I have a friend who lives in a cottage on the Frazier River in BC. Check out her site. http://www.intriguingdesigns.net/index.html Have fun with all those fun toys I saw in your crafty room! 14. Wow, it sounds like you've been extraordinarily busy these past few weeks both in your kitchen AND in your studio! 100lbs of cherries - can't believe it! Look out for the tomato invasion LOL! Loving your arty corners - you've got so many of them scattered all over your studio, tied into one giant big super creative space! Good luck with all your design team assignments - you've got your work cut out, girl, but I know you can do it!!!

  15. Yeah...a super woman among us ! Loved to see all your fun work space crannies. To me that's the fun part. If I didn't have to have 2 couches, single and queen beds in the space near my studio I could have more room to move around. But when family comes home that's where they have to sleep. I've thought of inflatables !!! but then where would I put my stuff when I need the space? My DH has 3x the garden he has had..but only 3 tomato plants and we have more than we can use for the 2 of us. He gives a lot to his family. But I worked with beets, green beans, kale, rhubarb, cucumbers, zucchini and today he brought home the 1st sweet corn. Frankly, I'll be glad for FALL, the humidity can wear me down. Thanks for sharing the great photos. ENJOY ...and take some time to relax.

  18. Wow! You have been super busy! You are beautiful! Your workspace is amazing!! Even your messy is so much cleaner than mine. I also end up stacking things on my stamping station to where I avoid stamping as to not clean it. Of course, with your DT commitments you can't get by with that. Sorry it's taken me so long to respond, but thanks for visiting my blog. LisaDV #35
