The Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers Challnege #63 - "B" is for BOOZE

Happy Day Blog Landers! I cannot believe it is time for another Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers Challenge, the weeks are flying by so fast this year that I feel dizzy! (and it's NOT the wine... grin) This week our challenge theme is so appropriate for the beginning of the summer don't you think?
And here is what I created - I just LOVE to mix up beautiful female images saying totally unexpected things.
This card came together very quickly because I used a pre-designed card base that I have had for over SEVEN years (gasp - using my stash!) and I embellished the bottom with Ranger's stickles.

I cut this image from a sheet full of images by Pion Design (made in Sweden) called "From Grandma's Attic - Tinted") which I discovered in a small scrapbooking shop on Vancouver Island last fall and for which I Paid CRAZY money because I just had to them... and YES, I actually cut those individual strands from a feather and glued them onto her hat... something only a truly commited crafter would attempt to do and probably only the ONCE!  I added seed pearls to cover up the feather ends and mounted the image using foam tape.
Finally, I stamped my Unity Stamps sentiment in brown Stayzon ink onto a brown paper bag which had carried my wine home from our local liquor store (appropriate don't you think?Funny, pretty and quick - what more can you ask for?  So pop on over the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers to see what my other Sisters created and do link up your Booze inspired creations for this challenge - you have until July 22 at midnight and we always choose a Queen and Princesses of Snark!

As Always, thanks for popping in to see what I am up to these days and please do leave me a comment if you like what you see!
