Did you know there is a card challenge site called 10 Minute Craft Dash?? The idea is to create a card in 10 minutes or LESS using their theme... You are allowed to assemble your product before you turn on the timer but that's it! I stumbled across this site while I was checking out my fellow Drunken Stamper Jessi's blog site and I just HAD to try it!
Now my inspiration for this card came from Susan K. Weckesser's August "Create to Live" Challenge. When I saw the photo for this month's challenge it made my mouth water and I really wanted to make something with this color pallet and theme. So here it is... My 10 minute Card!
I really didn't think it was possible for me to create a card in 10 minutes but I guess I really am a "Deadline Girl" because with that little timer ticking I just didn't have TIME to worry about "is there a better way?" I just HAD to DO it! There are a few ink smudges because I was rushing but you know it's still a great card and I did it in exactly 10 minutes... I would have been done sooner but those itty bitty heart jewels flew all over the counter and I lost about a minute trying to find them all! Grin
So if you need an inspiration boost this month check out these two cool sites! AND they BOTH offer Prizes!!
Cheers!

Pretty card! I love all of the generational stamping you did!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for playing along with the 10 Minute Craft Dash!
Oh Lynne, this is too awesome! (thanks for the shout out, you feathery yellow goddess! lol) That is one of the fabulous things with the 10-min dash - no second guessing. I've found it influencing me other times too - just DECIDE already :)
ReplyDeleteHow clever of you to combine the two challenges into this sweet card! 10 minute dash's! I like the sound of that!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a sweet card, Lynne. I love the theme and the colors, too.
ReplyDeleteThank you, again, for visiting my blog and commenting. That really means a lot to me!!
