What fun! The challenge today over at the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers is "W" is for Weddings and we are to use Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed and - you guessed it - Something Blue! Here is my creation:
Isn't she just stunning? This is a stamp I ordered from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps in 2012 and it is both my Something Old AND Something New because I used it for the first time today!
My Something Borrowed is this quote from Aristotle Onassis, who was Greek and was at one time one of the wealthiest men in the world and loved his wife and daughters more than anything else in the world...
And for this reason I interpret this quote to mean the only reason for a man to make money is to allow him to give the women in his life everything they want and without these beautiful women to shower with gifts why does a man even need money? But really... Did I HAVE to explain that? (grin)
And the something blue is well, the BLUE. So pop on over to the Sisterhood to see how my Sisters have interpreted this challenge... I just have to say... I have some pretty twisted Sisters! All the details for this challenge are HERE and I do hope you decide to play along... you have until Friday, September 1st!
Thanks for popping in today to see what I am up to and please do leave me a comment if you like what you see!

ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous, Lynne! Having just watched Kennedys After Camelot, that sentiment really works for me — and so does your interpretation! :D
ReplyDeleteReally really gorgeous, such a lovely stamp, how did you keep it unused for so long?
ReplyDeleteJane
O sounds like my kind of guy. Plus I know that he had a huge yacht so there would have been a craft room on it for me. I can't believe you sat on that princess stamp for 5 years.
ReplyDeleteMe neither! Grin it was a case of needing just the perfect project.. Although I did take her out every few months and gently stroke her... Ha!Ha!Ha! (imagine Scrooge McDuck and his piles of gold!!)
DeleteYup - this is just fabulous, and a perfect card for the challenge. You rock!
