Sharing a "Cuppa" with a New Friend...

Happy St. Patrick's Day (or Being Irish Day-grin) to those that Celebrate and Happy Tuesday to everyone else!  I am 25% Irish and  My SIL (son-in-law) is 100% Irish so I embrace this day whole heartedly and I am re-sharing the card I created for my Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers Challenge - you still have until Friday to play (just SAYIN"!)
Today I am sending out a quick post to share a brand new site I just popped into, "The Altered Book Lover"   where every Tuesday you can pop in to share a "cuppa" tea with the lovely Elizabeth and her cat Bluebeard.  I happened upon this wonderful little place through Ms. Julia Dunnit's post at The Stamping Ground and as I was drinking my Earl Grey out of my very favorite giant tea mug, found in Hawaii in 2012 and packed and padded to come home in my purse (grin), I just HAD to join in!

So here is my "cuppa" sitting in front of some of my creations from this past seven days.
You can see a pictorial tutorial on the poppy canvas HERE:
You can see another pictorial tutorial on the stamped, jeweled bird card HERE:
and the Dalia flower canvas is still in the process of being created, my second attempt at the poppy canvas technique.

Thank you Ms. Julia Dunnit for sharing this site and THANK YOU Ms. Elizabeth for having me for tea!
Cheers

  4. Welcome Lynne. So glad you decided to join us for T this Tuesday. Any drink is acceptable. We won't kick you out if you choose to have something other than tea. I've had soda pop, egg nog, buttermilk, and juice to name a few.

Isn't Julia the SWEETEST? I adore her, and her gift to me was not only delicious, it was so well thought out.

You make gorgeous art. Simply GORGEOUS. Color me impressed with the beauty of the canvases and cards you make. Everything you create screams color and attention to detail. I am in total awe of your art. Of course, I enjoyed the back story about the mug, too.

I hope you join us again. Thanks for sharing T with us, along with your lovely art this St. Patrick's Day Tuesday.
