What's on YOUR Workdesk Wednesday - WOYWW #295

It's WOYWW#295 over at the Stamping Ground!!! Ok, this morning I am coming CLEAN, because I just don't have time to CLEAN UP!  I know I am blessed to have this FANTASTIC space to play in ... but the down side is I also have more room to spead out into and get MESSY! Grin
So here is what My Space REALLY looks like when the creative juices are flowing, the husband is out of town for the week and I don't even have to get dressed (let alone clean up ... Big Giant GRIN!)
And here is what I was working on last night and will be working on all day today... creating a Special "You Are Loved" tin for a dear friend...
I am stamping these Suzi Blu images onto pages of a Maya Anjelou book and painting them with Twinkling H2O's and I will then be applying them to that altered tin in the background - I think it will be SWEET!
And for those of you that popped in last week and want to know, here is what I did over top of my canvas covered in personal journaling and inky paper towels... which I created for my Life Book 2015-Lesson #4.
And here is where my birdies are right now... awaiting a quote I want to add to them...
and here is me ... still in my housecoat at 11:00 am on a winter morning in Canada!

Thanks for popping in today and yes PLEASE, do leave me a comment if like what you seeeee!  And if you haven't already... pop over to the Stamping Ground to see what people all over the world have on their work desks this Wednesday!!!

  7. I am sooooooo happy I am not alone !! My room is very small compared to yours and I have to share with a guest daybed ! My husband has I hissy when I really get into projects , especially when it's more that one ! I tell him that's why they made doors ! Just shut it and walk away..............to be fair, our house is really small (under 1000 sq. ft. !)and he has made me anything I want to help keep me organized !
So would like to have you as my neighbor! My favorite time to work is in my comfiest and during hunting season.........I have the house to myself for days at a time! So happy I found your site Lynne !!

  12. Your enthusiasm just bubbles over in your fun post, Lynne! I love your area, your mess, and all your astounding works of art! I especially love the selfie in the mirror ~ you really captured most of the Blogland audience of women, I'll bet. I know I'd still be in my jammies at 11 ... okay, all day long ... if my hubs was out of town and the time was mine, all mine!! You went for it and I love that you shared!! Hugs, Darnell

  13. Thanks for your visit, my crafty fellow Canadian! I also have an L-shaped work area, so I know exactly what you mean about more space to spread out the mess-er-creativity. {LOL}. Awesome creations . On some winter days around here, I stay in my jammies too and just create to my heart's content. That's what retirement and winter are for. 😊

  14. Thanks so much for popping in Lynne! I would have hated to miss this post! You have so many yummy projects going on. The tin is gorgeous (I think I recognize Tam's stencil there!) and your ballerina has turned out beautiful as well! I'm loving LifeBook, I'm so glad I signed up. I used to have this mentality that I don't pay for online classes (after all, there's so much out there for free) but LifeBook is different because it continuously provides us with motivation. I absolutely adore your birdie canvas - love those bright colours! Hope to see next week what quote you chose! You look really happy in that photo surrounded by your art - isn't it funny how happy we are when our hubbies are away leaving us alone to play, LOL! zsuzsa @ InkyDinkyDoodle #41

  15. You mess looks lovely and busy. I love your use of bursing colours: both the canvases and the tin ( but not your housecoat, perhaps you should use some paint on it too :) i'm so late here, that your hubby-free week is probably at an end, hope you have a crafty fun weekend anyhow!

  16. I love everything that I see in your room mess and all, what a fantastic way to spend your week in your PJ's or housecoat. I am loving that bird layout as I have wanted to do something like this with my birds but wasn't quite sure how to fit them all onto the Journal Page, Oh and I am also loving that girl layout and your Suzi Blu stamps. I am about to head out with my bestie for a catch up and some retail therapy, I bet this shop wont have any Suzi Blu stamps. Thanks for sharing and popping in to say hi, I am subscribed to your blog via email so I will be back.

  17. Oooh, your space is so inspiring!!! I, too, love to stay in my pyjamas/housesuit all day, playing in the atelier and not worry about how I look. These days on which I only brush my teeth in the morning, grab a cup of coffee and go to the atelier are the best! Your birdy-canvas is gorgeous (and I love the other stuff too!) Thanks for the visit to my blog earlier. Happy (belated) woyww and enjoy the weekend! Marit #39
