The SUPREME Scrap Tournament-2014

Hello Everyone... I am giddy with excitement to be a part of TEAM CANADA for this first International scrapbooking, mixed media and cardmaking competition called "The Supreme Scrap Tournament, 2014" You can see their blog HERE. (more on the competition below).  I am so very excited to be a member of both the Scrapbooking and the Cardmaking team and Round 1 has started... Here is my submission for the Card Challenge:

The rules for the CARD Challenge are as follows: Make an ATC (Artist's Trading Card) about home; include a saying or wish; do not use any ink sprays, flowers, die cutting machines or images of a house. 

I used modelling paste, a stencil and my gelatos's for the background... I created a ZENTANGLED heart and painted it with my colored india inks and I used an old-fashioned typewriter for my saying and of course liquid glass and stickles to make it all shiny and glittery!

Now about the competition - it is a FUN competition by country - the teams are from all over the world and there are over 200 people playing.  The size of the teams is limited by the smallest team (10 people) plus we have been getting "bonus spots" since November... so Our team is up to 16 people!  All members of the competition vote on the entries after each challenge and about half of the group moves forward every round.  You cannot vote for yourself or any of your teammates and I LIKE that because then it's not a popularity contest, but a true opinion of your peers. Here is the Challenge Schedule and I will keep you posted as I move forward (hopefully... Grin)
