Now, How Cute is THIS?!

Boy it's been a busy "creative" week and I have so much more to share!  But come on How could I NOT share this card I made up with yet ANOTHER Handmade Harbour Image?  This one is called "the Washing Line" and took some liberties by printing it twice and adding more birds..
This image really appealed to me because I have always HATED doing laundry - but when I came across this quote I started looking at doing laundry in an entirely different light... And now that I have a clothes line (and I am home all day)  it's kind of fun!  NOTE:  I will totally deny I ever said this if my husband asks... grin.
Now for those of you that are interested... I colored the clothes with my sparkly gel pens and used my copic markers on the posts; I cut the flowers from some really old card stock I had lying around and I cut it all out and popped everything using foam dots and embellished with stickles as always.  I TYPED the sentiment on my new favorite toy a 1940's portable typewriter that I found in my local second hand store - I LOVE IT!

I am entering this card in the following Challenges:
Thanks For stopping by to Share with ME... and leave a comment if you liked it!

  1. Lynne I LOVE this card. The little clothes fussy cut, i have no idea how you fussy cut the line. Amazing! And great quote, I need to remember that as a SAHM now when the piles of laundry are all around me! Enter more challenges with it...:-)

    1. Laura THANK YOU! and if you haven't already guessed I LOVE to fussy cut and I have really good scissors. When I cut out the clothes line I just wanted to see how close I could get without beaking it, like trying to peel an apple all in one strip...Grin... But in this case I even impressed myself! Stop by again soon! Smile
